Different Perspectives

I bought my first macro lens almost a year ago today. A canon 100mm f2.8L IS, to be precise.  And to be honest, I haven’t really used it… I have actually used it more for portrait photography than its actual intended purpose of getting up close to things.

The other night, I decided to go out in the back yard and play around in front of a typical view that I have photographed many times, but with my 100mm macro mounted to my camera instead.

Here is how that worked out…
